Shy Little Bugger!

Did I call it or did I call it? I knew this little cutie would be shy! I just knew it! :) We have been anticipating this day for awhile now...and the little booger had to have his/her legs crossed. Modest little thing! :) I'm already raising it to be modest. Good thing! :) Thankfully they scheduled us for next Wednesday to try again! Whew! Lucked out on that one! I thought they were going to make us wait another month!

I honestly wanted to cry when we couldn't find out. I think it was mostly because just as we got to the office, the lady that works with the insurance told us there was something wrong with our insurance and our bill was racking up! That caused anxiety for me. (It's not hard to do). :) So that started it out rough. I just felt uneasy...even though we got it worked out just fine. But then the unknown gender! Thankfully, the baby is doing great! It's healthy and strong. It measured right on and the due date stays April 10th.

I was going to drink some orange juice this morning (thanks to Shari Crawford's suggestion) :) but turns out I threw up twice. So I'm afraid even if I did drink it, it wouldn't have stayed down. The orange juice, I presume, is to help with the sugars to help the baby be a little more active. Darn! But the doc said to drink some caffeine and have some sugar a half hour before the appointment and hopefully that will help. He thinks it's a girl... I guess we'll see....next Wednesday. Maybe. If this little cutie is still shy next week, there will be tears. :)

  1. We had the SAME thing happen when we were at the Dr's office! We had cleared everything through our insurance and then something went crazy and I DID end up crying right there in the front office :) I felt like a dork, but I was SO frustrated. Then we did get in there and they were able to at least tell that one of them was a boy :) I don't know what I would've done if they couldn't tell either gender :) You're a stronger woman than me! :)
